Centralia Police say a car driven by 58-year-old Patricia Cichon of Centralia hit two parked cars on Elm Street near Fourth during the noon hour on Monday. Both Chichon and her mother, Billie Lusch of Centralia, who was a passenger in the car, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. Centralia City Firefighters had to extricate Cichon from the vehicle. Cichon received a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The second wreck occurred in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Drive around 3:30 pm. Police indicated the drivers of the two vehicles involved were 63-year-old Linda Linder of Centralia and 38-year-old Kathryn Hamilton of Shattuc. Reports on the wreck have not yet been completed.
