Q: Do you how long these foggy mornings are going to last? I enjoyed having warm sunny weather last week and I hate having to see it go away. – Brian Hardy, San Francisco

A: Thursday morning, the clouds associated with the Marine Layer will mix out!

The marine layer has remained fairly steady for the past 24 hours at roughly 3,000 feet. This is quite extensive! There will be very little change over the next few days with patchy drizzle at night and early mornings.

So what’s it going to take to make our weather pattern change? An area of low pressure. And that will certainly happen on Thursday!
